School fee ledger · Skoolway
The fee ledger is the school’s list of what it charges and what it has recorded as paid. The money goes to the account the school connected.
What gets recorded
The school sets vote heads for the term. It can record a payment by hand, including cash. When a connected paybill, till, or bank sends a notice, Skoolway can write it onto one learner if the reference matches a roll number or NEMIS exactly.
Unmatched notices wait for the bursar. The same receipt is not recorded twice. Until the school turns that account on, a matched notice stays a test and is not written onto the fee record.
Separate from the Skoolway charge
Tuition that families pay the school is not the KES 10,000–25,000 or KES 20–40 charge for using Skoolway. Those ranges are on the pricing page and are per term.
