Terms of Service · Skoolway
These terms cover use of the Skoolway platform by schools, staff, parents, and learners. By creating a school, accepting an invite, or signing in, you agree to them.
The school account
The person who creates a school account must be allowed to act for that school. That account is the school’s control point for structure, staff, learners, fees, and portals.
The school is responsible for the accuracy of what it enters, for inviting the right staff, and for linking the right parents and learners. Skoolway provides the tools. It does not replace the school’s duty to check its own records.
Staff, parents, and learners
Staff and teachers receive access when the school adds them and, where required, when they finish the invite and choose a password. Access should match the job. A library, clinic, finance, or transport role is not a right to the whole school.
Parents and learners use one portal to see the learner profiles the school has linked. Do not share a school code, learner identifier, invite token, or password with anyone who should not see those records.
Sign-in
Email and password sign-in is for accounts the school or signup flow created. Google sign-in is optional. When you use it, you also accept Google’s terms, and Skoolway relies on Google’s statement that the email address is verified.
Learner sign-in uses the school’s code and learner identifier. It is separate from staff and school-admin sign-in.
Fees, health, and transport
Fee amounts, balances, and receipts shown in Skoolway are the school’s records of what it charges and what it has recorded as paid. Skoolway does not itself collect school fees through this policy unless a separate payment service says so.
Health information should be limited to what the school needs for care and safety. Transport tools help the school run routes. They are not an emergency service and not a promise that a vehicle is on route.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to open another school’s data, probe the service, share access you were not given, or upload information the school has no right to hold.
Do not use Skoolway to harass a learner, parent, or staff member, or to publish school records outside the roles the product provides.
Availability and changes
Skoolway is provided to help a school operate. Features can change, and the service can be interrupted for maintenance, security, or failures in hosting, email, or Google sign-in. Schools should keep the official records they are required to keep outside the product.
Skoolway may suspend an account that breaches these terms, creates a security risk, or is required to be closed by law. These terms can be updated by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the version in effect.
Agreements and contact
These terms are the rules for using the product. They do not replace a separate written agreement a school may have with Skoolway. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the written agreement controls for that school.
Questions about these terms go to the support address given to your school administrator. Questions about a learner’s record go to the school that holds the account.
