Help Center · Skoolway

These are the paths that exist in the product. Questions about a particular learner, fee, or clinic note go to that school, because the school entered the record.

How does a school join Skoolway?

Use Create a school on the home page. The person who signs up must be allowed to act for that school. They then choose the institution type, day or boarding, and the classes the school uses.

How do parents and learners sign in?

They use the portal sign-in, not the staff sign-in. The school gives them the school code and the learner identifier, such as a roll number or NEMIS number.

Why was a fee not added to a learner?

The notice has to name exactly one learner, the school’s account has to be turned on, and the provider has to reach the public API. Unmatched notices wait for the bursar. Cash is recorded by the school.

School administrators

After signup, the setup steps cover the school’s identity, structure, and payment accounts. You can leave payment accounts empty and record fees by hand.

Add learners, parents, teachers, and department staff from the school dashboard. Staff receive an invite and choose a password. Invites expire after seven days.

Teachers and department staff

Teachers land in the teacher portal. The class register is there for streams the school assigned. Library, clinic, finance, and transport staff see the department the school gave them, not the whole school.

Parents and learners

The portal can show academics, library loans, health notes, fees, and transport for the selected learner. A parent switches learner inside that same portal. If a record looks wrong, ask the school to correct it.
